45: To whom it may concern, mostly Rufus ShinRa

I'm home, with thanks for my return due to nothing but the timely end of another farce of a virus.

ShinRa, I have some business to attend to but I intend to discuss this at a later date. I also have some tips on hospitality to share with you, the primary one being 'Waking your guest up at gunpoint is a faux pas.'

[Locked to Gumshoe]
Detective, a word, please.

At the time, I was preoccupied with something else. Do you spend all day here, Edgeworth?

Often the unarmed man has had both his arms broken.

Unfortunately, I have a planet to run.

... It's happened before.

How political correct of you. Seeing as I was too busy with company business and never actually saw you, that claim is out of the window.

No, you never have had a gun put to your head until now, have you?

How tragic, she was quite fond of you.

Then I'm sure you can imagine why I was so quick to draw.

I'm glad my reputation hasn't preceded me, Mr. Edgeworth.

Like I said, you've never had a gun to your temple.

We've met.

I didn't know you had no weapon.

And you're complaining about my sense of observation.

Under the cushions, below your belly- between the cushion and your stomach.

Different face, "Mr. Miles".

Once, when I was ten years old, there was someone who came to kidnap me and hold me for ransom, but he ended up getting caught by the maid because he thought he was a she. There are stupid people in this world.

Perhaps it would be best if I dropped that train of thought.

… In an idealistic world, Mr. Edgeworth.
