7: Oh irony.
Dearest Doctor Cuddy, was my visit merely part of a clever plot to have me catch ill, to teach me a lesson about getting vaccinated every year?
Hm. I'm not missing any more work next week. This had better be cleared up by Monday. If it's not, I'm holding you personally responsible, doctor.
...I'm still not getting vaccinated next year.

Different circumstances, and don't use my own flaw against me to convince anyone that you're fine. In any case: it's better to be prepared for the worst if you're ill.
You should be resting now though.

Optimism is a flaw? I make it a point to be prepared for every conceivable outcome. I will be perfectly fine. It may have been years since I was last ill, but that doesn't mean I'm going to wilt at the first symptoms.
If I were resting, I wouldn't be able to finish my work. Then I'd need to finish it tomorrow. I can either work tonight until I finish and rest through the day, or I can rest now and spend all day tomorrow (when I might feel worse) working.

Or there is another option: resting both days, which would most likely subdue whatever you have and working when you happen to be feeling better.
But I see you're going to be stubborn about it completely.

That's not an option. I have to get my work done.
