I don't get flu shots. Minor bugs only serve to strengthen the immune system. I haven't been sick in years.

I've always felt a person's immune system is generally strengthened when it's exposed to the more minor germs, naturally. And so far it seemed to have worked. But yesterday I visited Dr. Cuddy at her hospital, and I suppose I encountered more germs than usual.

I hardly need 'taking care of', it's just a minor case of the flu. I'm sure I'll be fine when I go in to work on Monday.

If you want to strengthen your immune system, why not just take Vitamin C supplements? You're less likely to get the common cold if you do.

Mr. Edgeworth, you're sick; you do need to take care of yourself. It's the flu; it's not easily remedied by medicine, and it gets much worse before better. Not taking care of yourself will only make it worse than it already will get.

I can't really go in person, though. Babies catch germs easy, so I don't want to bring anything home.

Unfortunately, it's a bit late for those.

I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself. I can't just drop everything because of something like this. I was already dealing with a backlog in my workload, and I just took a week off of trials so that I could catch up, which I didn't manage to do. I've still got a great deal of work to complete before Monday, and I'm not about to let a little cold get in the way.

Don't be ridiculous. I can't expect someone to worldhop just to bring me some soup. No matter how good it sounds. There's a restaurant about ten minutes away, I can go get some if I need it.

Little cold? It's the flu, is it not? And if it is, it's anything but little, and it's only going to get worse. I understand the need to catch up with work, but drop what you're doing, get off the computer, and rest.
