Character Relationships Meme
♦ Family – A painfully short list, which consists of people…er, beings who obtained the title officially. Currently only two of the four are alive, and one of those is a dog. :|
♦ In love with – What the title says. Edgeworth is in deep, soul searing, romantic love with this person, the only kind of romantic love he’s capable of.
♦ Friend – Also a short list, though it’s grown in his time on the community to encompass people both on and offline. These are the people he cares about, people who have earned enough of his trust for him to allow himself to care.
♦ Colleague – Speaks to fairly frequently, enough to be well acquainted with them. Enjoys their company, but doesn’t trust them on the level of a friend. May also denote co-workers he works with closely.
♦ Associate - People he knows of, maybe speaks to occasionally, but isn’t close to. Generally he hasn’t interacted with them enough to form any really strong opinions on them either way.
♦ In lust with/Finds attractive – Self-explanatory. These are people Edgeworth finds attractive in some way, either because of their physical attributes or bearing. Doesn’t necessarily indicate real attraction to all of them, just that they have some qualities he might find appealing under some circumstances. This list is short, as most of the people on the community don’t fit his type: intelligent men, his age or older, well-built but not excessively muscular, with distinguished features and a gentlemanly or aristocratic manner.
♦ Dislikes/Is mistrustful of – The people Edgeworth avoids, whether because they’re annoying, extremely poor company, or downright untrustworthy. Some may be people he suspects of crimes but has no proof against, or people he knows are criminals but who haven’t affected him in a personal enough way to earn his actual hatred.
♦ Hates – People who he feels have personally offended him or threatened or abused him or those he considers friends. Surprisingly, it’s not a very long list. Despite his occasions of raeg and his temper, he’s not a violent man and this extends to his relationships with people. He may fear people, he may distrust them, he may even despise them, but few have actually earned his true hatred. If you’re on this list, there’s a good chance you’re an unrepentant murderer and he knows it.

Most of these were written from memory. Considering how long Edgeworth’s known some of these characters and how horrible my memory is, they might not be entirely accurate. XD;; If anything on here sounds off or if Edgeworth seems to know something that was never explicitly told to him or even implied, please let me know so I can research their conversations and refresh my memory. This post is also going to serve as my own ongoing reference for his relationships, so I want it to be as accurate as possible!
