She was involved in one of my trials. My first, actually. She left a decidedly bad impression.

But I think you already have some idea of that.

She killed. How many times, I can't say for certain. As far as I know she was never convicted, but that was years ago.

Is that in keeping with what you know of her?

That was the name she went by at the trial as well. She was a witness...the first of the many that I used.

Five years ago. She was..convicted, yes.

Who was it that finally managed to get a guilty verdict? Hawthorne was a formidable witness.
