[RL 47: Totally not a date; Edgeworth, Klavier][Backdated]

((OOC: Taking place after this post, the first night of the ghost ship event.))



[Arrives several minutes before 6, dressed in what for him is a casual outfit, with simple grey slacks (impeccably pressed), a white button-down with the sleeves rolled up, and a black vest. He surveys the pool area, knowing it won't be difficult to spot Gavin if or when he arrives.]

[For Klavier casual means not styling his hair, but leaving it perfectly straight and layered. It also means wearing a purple button down unbuttoned for the most part and untucked from a pair of breathable, pliable leather pants. There is nothing casual about the pants, however, with their lace-up sides providing a tantalizing glimpse of flesh or how they fit like a second skin. This certainly makes him distinguishable from the rest of the crowd on board.

He arrives right on six just as he was told, a part of him had thought that this might be in vain and that Edgeworth was putting him on, but he’s pleasantly surprised to find him standing in the designated spot and waiting on him.]

Guten abend, Herr Edgeworth…I take it you were able to finish everything?

[He'd known that hoping for something more restrained was a hope in vain, but Gavin had even exceeded his fears. After his first unwary glance had revealed far too much exposed skin for his tastes, instilling in him the unreasonable urge to button up the top two buttons of his own shirt simply to offset the effect, he kept his eyes firmly fixed on Gavin's face instead.]

If I hadn't, I would have already canceled.

[Needless to say Klavier is entirely unaware that his taste in casual wear is a source of discomfort since it‘s not the reaction he aims for, things just turn out that way for him. Of course he’s not really expecting much of a reaction from his companion either way so ignorance is bliss.]

I suppose so…actually I’m very surprised [Klavier said this while scratching his chin and looking somewhat sheepish. He certainly had his doubts, but his expectations had been more than exceeded.] Ah, but more importantly, where did you want to go?

It appears the dinner theater doesn't begin until 7. Until then, I thought the photography class could be an interesting diversion. [As he says it he begins to walk, slowly enough to allow Gavin to keep up. Of course, he's already verified the class' start time and location.]

Sounds like it'll be a blast. Do you know anything at all about photography, Herr, or will this be completely new to you? [Klavier keeps pace with Edgeworth not getting too close to him, but maintaining a casual distance. He has to remind himself not to throw an arm around his companion.]

[Edgeworth is satisfied with the distance, resulting in a slight relaxing of his demeanour as they walked.] I'm familiar with the rudimentary steps, but then, who isn't? Refining the skill will be a worthwhile pursuit.

If by rudimentary you mean "point and click" then I guess I know a little something [Klavier said this while making a frame with his fingers and then holding his fingers up so that he's looking at Edgeworth through the frame] I've been in front of plenty of cameras, but I don't know too much about them.
