This isn't crit really... But I just wanted to say that I ADORE your Edgeworth. I've been an obsessive PW fan for about 2 years now, and he's always been one of my favorite characters, really.

Your writing and characterization have got to be some of the best I've seen. You and attorney_at_lol are such an inspiration. And you have such a fabulous chemistry in your posts. It's a treat to read! I follow you guys like regularly, even though I'm not a member here.

You're a fantastic moderator - you always seem professional and on-the-ball while still being really friendly and approachable - and IC you're a joy to thread with and the most perfect Edgeworth I've ever seen. DDD is incredibly lucky to have you.

From what I've seen so far, you and attorney_at_lol set a gold standard for slashing P/E. Many people make them too open too quick, Edgeworth especially, so it's a treat to see a courtship that's not just believably protracted, but clearly is only advancing even that quickly because of the community's meddling. Since Phoenix is being reintroed, I'm anxious to see what happens next!

For that matter, I wonder when you plan to advance Edgeworth through the most embarassing canon week of his life AAI... I wouldn't blame you if you spaced it out to an actual week in length, I note, since fans have noted that the canonical timeframe for it barely left him time to eat and sleep.

Sorry about the late reply! You totally helped make my Thanksgiving, thank you anon! We've always tried to make it however slow (and frustrating o9) as it needed to be. I'm glad you've gotten some enjoyment out of the effort! I'm hopeful that now that Phoenix is back maybe soon they'll finally stop being stupid over each other, but as it's all on his head at this point we'll just have to see where it goes.

As for the most godawful embarrassing and possibly second most stressful canon week of his life AAI, I'll probably put him through it once I...finish the game. >_> I'm heading into the next-to-last case, but rl is busybusybusy always this time of year so I haven't had much time to play. Since we lost our beloved Lang and Franzy I haven't really been in any hurry to push him on through it, but it will happen one of these days. And (through the magic of backdating) it'll probably still be taking place over the same span of time as presented in the series. I see Edgeworth as making a frequent habit of not eating and/or sleeping when there are more important things to be done, so having him get involved in a ludicrous number of crimes in a matter of days and devote himself to them instead of, you know, living, doesn't seem unlikely. XD;;

Hey, I appreciate the TL;DRs. :) If anything, I should be apologizing for stalking spamming you so much in various places. Glad you at least were delighted by this part, though! :)

As for giving the whole relationship thing a kick in the pants... I can think of a few options of varying levels of bluntness, but for a first step, I'd favor something to do with the whole Christmas gift dilemma. Maybe Edgeworth overshoots pretty severely in his choice of gift for Phoenix, expressing more of his love than he meant to, enough to get the defense attorney's gears turning. Maybe he's caught stressing out over the choice more than would seem warranted for even a hot best friend and worthy colleague in court.

No worries, anon! Feedback is always good. I'm just sorry I keep failing to respond in a timely manner. XD;; The holidays are not conducive to doing anything but decorating and shopping and working, sob.

Oh, the relationship has already gotten quite a few kicks in the pants. ;) The truth is, thanks to the community and Edgeworth's inability to be anything other than what he is Phoenix is aware of how Edgeworth feels now. He just doesn't want to acknowledge it to himself yet. We've got a few ideas to make that happen, they just got put on hold when Phoenix left the comm. Now that he's back, we can get to work on them. /rubs hands together evilly

Christmas may play a part, actually, we're still deciding what we're going to do with it. But even if nothing happens on that front, Christmas is still going to be a special time for them. Edgeworth's come to depend on Phoenix's company to get through the holiday, we couldn't let a Christmas go by without them enjoying their tradition of spending time together. :3

Assuming you're the same anon that commented on some of the other journals today, thank you too for making the effort to brighten people's day. I admire all the people who do these sweeps of anon love/LJ paid gifts so much. (And if you're a lone anon, I still admire you so much anyway, of course. Not everyone would go out of their way to do something so nice for someone else. <3)

Thanks so much for this kind comment! Since I dropped DDD a short while ago I didn't really expect to keep getting stuff here. I appreciate the sentiment, and even more I appreciate hearing that I had some influence in spreading the Edgey rp love to another player. Because Edgey can always use more love (even if he typically doesn't know what to do with it). You've got him in Paradisa and memes/museboxes?

Just about. ;3; I finally bit the bullet and dropped after last activity check started. He wasn't going to make it through because of hiatus and lots of real life shenanigans eating up all my time (planning a wedding is busy business). On top of that, I haven't been able to get myself back into the game for a long time now. Rl seemed to keep kicking my ass every time I tried to focus on rp. :P I'm planning to set up a small, private game in the next month or so and restrict myself to just there and memes/museboxes for a while. If that kickstarts my drive, I may be back to DDD eventually! /more information than you needed to know

How long have you had him at Paradisa? Did you come over from LJ?

You certainly may. Idgiebay (AKA my Phoenix) and I are getting married next year. We actually just bought our wedding dresses this weekend. Ironically, her brother is getting married next month too, so there have been wedding shenanigans left and right for like, the past six months.

Awesome! Are you having fun there? What's the game premise? I should know this, but I can never seem to keep the big games straight. XD;;

If I end up posting anything publicly it will probably be in his journal! I think all game threads are going to end up in our community, but if I come up with any side stories, etc. I'll be sure to share them. They may or may not make absolutely no sense outside of the context of the game. Unless you know the series Supernatural, in which case you might be able to get the gist of things!
