I still fail to see the point in these things. And yet I continue to participate in them.

The cast was finally removed on Friday. I've followed the doctor's recommended stationary exercises throughout the healing process, yet some atrophy was inevitable. The marked difference is...odd. There will be even further visits to the hospital as they determine a physical therapy regimen for me.

I broke my right arm over a month ago. The cast might have been off sooner but there was a minor setback early in the healing process.

The bone has finally mended, though. The physician's role now is merely to instruct me in the physical therapy needed to safely repair the atrophy that comes with such an extended period of immobility.
