Okay, I know this is going to come as a HUGE surprise to some of you, but in the future there will be Phoenix/Edgeworth lovin'.

"NO WAI!" I can hear some of you cry, and I must reply, "WAI. So very wai." Their relationship is progressing (possibly faster than we anticipated, if the Secrets Posts have anything to say about it) and we were kind of curious how well it's working so far. We're trying our damnedest to make it IC as possible and also as realistic as we can make it. These two are somewhat emotionally retarded and utterly stupid over one another, but we want it to stay within reason. XD

So that's where this post comes in. Give us your constructive criticism, PLEASE. Are we moving too fast? Too slow? Do they sound like teenagers in love, or 20-something lawyers with major issues and really hot legs? Are you all screaming for them to just get a room and screw each other silly, for fuck's sake? How well (or poorly XD) are we handling their relationship?

Keep in mind that at this moment in time, they still don't believe what they have is anything different from a deep (really, REALLY deep) friendship. Despite appearances. XD

Okay, I've probably mentioned to you before, but I loveloveLOVE how carefully you guys are planning this out. It's going really naturally and brilliantly right now, and fantastically IC. I love watching them interact, and the subtle ways it's changing.

Aheheh, considering that I know precious little about the finer details of the series, I don't know how accurate anything I have to say might be, but from a writing standpoint it looks good! They're adults who've settled into their sense of self, and it comes across. Their interactions are well-paced and complex, and it's very realistic: they start off talking business, sure, but once the professionalism runs its course, things get uncomfortable. Moments of strained silence and flickers of underlying elements say much, much more than, well...anything! What's there to worry about? XD

Thank you!! It's good to hear that it's coming off okay from a viewpoint that doesn't already have the canon firmly in mind. And I appreciate the part about them being adults. Until recently I only really played teen characters and I worried that Edgeworth wouldn't be, well...adult enough. XD

Personally, (and since I've only just come into this wonderful little plot maybe I can see it objectively...?) looking back on all the posts and stuff, I think you're both handling it wonderfully and carefully and really ICly. Seriously, I can't see any problems here. ♥ I read your posts and end up with a silly little grin on my face.

That being said, during the epic ANON!thread those two had on the secrets, I was both rofling and headesking in equal measures. Seriously, if Pearls wasn't such a die-hard Nick/Maya shipper, she'd be banging their heads together by now. XD

It's all good, dude! I'm a complete music nerd (comes in handy with Apollo), so half the time, I'm listening to movie soundtracks and Classical albums. You know what? DS is one of the best systems on the market, INCLUDING consoles. I love Nintendo so much. And the games are brilliant, especially the ridiculously large catalog of puzzle games and things designed to actually TEACH you stuff. I just saw one today that's designed to make you AMBIDEXTROUS. WTF? Utter win.

Oh yeah, and if you get one you have to get PW. XD No question, you just DO. [stern finger waggle]

I listened to nothing but movie soundtracks for the first half of my life. XD But I never got into classical. ;_; I'm starting to just barely scratch the surface now because of Edgeworth, and I'm so happy I am! I've found some beautiful pieces. And omg THANK YOU. That is so cool! I was trying to convince my dad to get me and my mom one for Christmas - I really want the new Zelda game, and my mom wants Brain Age. I think there's a lot of games that can really benefit you! I'm glad they're making educational games now, so that people can do them in their free time or whenever. :B
