8: Dearest Dr. Cuddy...

Consider yourself currently out of my good graces. I went to work this morning only to be rebuffed. Apparently I'm too contagious to be around my co-workers. A disappointing waste of time and gasoline and energy.

At least I was able to bring more work home.

Perhaps you wouldn't have been sent home if you hadn't been so stubborn Saturday, which is not Dr. Cuddy's fault.

Is it the flu then?

If gets worse, you should; a prescription of Tamiflu will help it along a little.

And she would benefit from such ploy how...? Or are you convinced it was just out of sadism?

Dude. If you're sick, you should be resting, not working. Otherwise it'll take you even longer to get better.

Miles Edgeworth I suggest you stop being foolish and rest.

I did say if it gets worse... Resting will help, regardless if you deem it serious or not though.

Oh, the benefits of vaccines? You know, one benefit is that you avoid being ill altogether and therefore aren't left to be stubborn and argue with people who mean well.

Yeah, but if you're sick, you're probably not able to concentrate as much on what you're doing, and if you're sicker longer because you tried to work while you were sick...

You'll end up making errors while sick, that's all.

You'd get more work done if you took care of yourself first.

Hm, you're beginning to remind me of someone as well... But if you refuse to rest, try not wear yourself out.

Even if you hadn't gone to the hospital, there would still be a chance of becoming ill. Is this really a disguise for something else?

[identity profile] know-sacrifice.livejournal.com 2007-11-27 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
Fine, fine! Sheesh! I'm just sayin'. Usually it's better to chill.

[identity profile] know-sacrifice.livejournal.com 2007-11-27 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, man, it's your immune system. Do what you want, just be ready for people to bug you about it.

And don't come complaining to us when it takes you twice as long to get over it.

[identity profile] know-sacrifice.livejournal.com 2007-11-27 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
And the four people here bugging you right now are all a fluke?

Good!

[identity profile] ttly-an-arab.livejournal.com 2007-11-27 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
Very well then.

That degree being that the bacteria and viruses are in a highly concentrated area that also happens to be sanitized. Otherwise, your risk of becoming ill is much greater outside of a hospital, unless you had direct contact with an ill patient.

A fear perhaps?
