[OOC: OOC Character Memes]
Some general guidelines (not rules!) for dealing with Edgeworth and where he's coming from. If you'd like clarification on anything, or have any questions, feel free to ask! Again, guidelines, not rules.
Notes for the Psychics: Edgeworth has issues. Yeah. A certain event in his childhood left him with PTSD triggered by earthquakes, being trapped in dark places, and elevators. Aside from the triggers, the effect is seen mostly in the nightmares that he still suffers through. He's going to therapy and attempting to work through it all, but there are plenty of things still wrong with his head.
What's Okay To Mention Around Him: Your character can mention anything around him, but I can't guarantee they'll like the reaction they get. Discussions of sex will probably result in a lecture on privacy and decency. Inquiries into his past aren't likely to be responded to well; his history is painful and embarrassing for him and he tries to keep it private. Questioning his relationships with people (cough*PhoenixWright*cough) might result in confusion or evasion; he's not comfortable with admitting feelings to himself, let alone to others, and believes himself to be above the need for friendships of any sort. He also has a firm sense of justice, and discussions of illegal or wrongful acts are likely to bring down an argument in his usual courtroom style.
Of course, if you're looking to push his buttons, these are probably the easiest ways to do it. <3
Abilities: Edgeworth didn't earn the moniker 'The Demon Prosecutor' by being a pushover. Though he's not the ruthless 'win at all costs' man that he was before Phoenix Wright came back into his life, he is still a force to be reckoned with, in and out of court. He's an expert at constructing arguments, a genius when it comes to law, and, like Wright, is apparently better at ferreting out the truth behind mysteries than the police are.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/slash/etc?: Possibly! If you have something in mind, just ask and we'll discuss. With regards to slash, though, he is not going to be initially (or possibly ever) open to advances. He is gay, but he does everything in his power to keep distant from relationships and emotional attachments. Which doesn't mean your character can't crush on him anyway. :D
Maim/Murder/Death: Maim is a possibility, would depend on the situation and the details. Approach me and we'll discuss. Murder and death would be a no unless he was coming back. XD
Now attempted murder, on the other hand...
Kissing/Hugging/Badtouch: Go for it! But keep in mind, your character might very well get slapped. Edgeworth guards his personal space like a pitbull. Depending on how close he is to your character, the reaction may range anywhere from confusion and uncertainty to utter outrage. (The only exception being possibly his sister, but as he doesn't expect that kind of familial contact that scenario would probably still be awkward.) Negative physical response (gentle extrication, shoving, etc.) might be involved, but only however much it takes for 'GETTHEFUCKAWAYFROMME' to be made abundantly clear, and always depending on his relationship with the character.

Ask any of my characters whatever questions you would like without having to approach them with it ICly. You might ask how they feel about your characters, about their motivations, or about how you might get in their good graces. Or anything else of which you can think.
And for your listening pleasure, One Man Guy - a Miles Edgeworth FST.

I think Edgeworth fits in quite well with Jeeves' 1920s British valet outlook on the important things like fashion and decorum. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, considering Edgeworth's from 2017 Los Angeles...

Edgeworth and Jeeves really need to meet soon!

Jeeves doesn't have to worry this time, Edgeworth won't make him change into some tacky modern clothes. :D

I'll probably be making an 'I'm not sick anymore' post when he's better, maybe then Jeeves can, like, ask if he'd be able to introduce him to more movies or something. Or whatever!

Zelos and Bean the Dynamite~

I actually don't remember much of Edgeworth's interacting with Bean. I think he might have when he first arrived? I dunno. ;_; Edgeworth doesn't really remember Bean much, if he did interact with him at that point; he got distracted after that and hasn't talked to him since. ^_^;;;
ZELOS. Yeeeees, Edgeworth has opinions on Zelos. So many opinions!
Well, obviously they got off to a bad start. XD He mentioned a lot of his feelings in that private post, actually. He thinks Zelos is very reckless, and extremely casual with other people's lives and emotions. Not that he thinks Zelos posted the pictures out of any malicious intent, just that he wanted to get a reaction and he set out to do so, without caring whether he actually hurt anyone with it. Though, especially after having Kadaj post pictures at him later, he knows it could have been a lot worse, and he did appreciate (after he'd calmed down some) that Zelos took down the Gant Tree; he thought it showed Zelos has at least some sense of respect and propriety.
Currently he's feeling especially irritable/grumpy around Zelos. He's trying to keep him as far away as possible because Zelos already got much more information than he allows people to normally have. He's very uncomfortable with someone knowing him that well, especially when they've hardly talked much and they hadn't even met until recently.
He's curious about some of the things Zelos said about himself when they talked. He wonders whether Zelos is famous or infamous on his world, though he's not in the least bit influenced by his self-professed fame. He wonders about Zelos' world too, and thinks it sounds like a pretty horrible place, especially with all the corruption (corruption and abuse in the ranks of people in power just happens to be one of his touchy subjects, HMM I WONDER WHY).
He firmly believes still that Zelos is a very subtle danger, and doesn't trust him at all (again, not out of fear of malice on Zelos' part, just negligence).

Zelos is still unconvinced that he was hurting anyone. It's all just about pride, which, pfft. Thus his taking down of Gant Tree! I'm glad Edgeworth at least sort of appreciated that, though. :D
Aw, but it's just an excuse for them to keep getting to know each other! :D :D :D
...he should ask. Zelos would feel that it's only fair he answer questions. Speaking of which, have Phoenix and Edgeworth talked yet? Zelos' world, it has changed! :O
