[OOC: Souvenir time!]
I think I've already informed all the players of the characters involved, but in case I missed anyone Edgeworth bought some people souvenirs while he was in Paris. It was before the Alignment Virus, when he was actually not trying all that hard to distance himself from the community and everyone on it. The RL that starts his little spree has yet to be written, but here are all the gifts that he got. Hyacinth will be delivering these delivered these on Thursday evening, 7-17-08 comm time, but I've been complete fail since I got back so this is really late. :Db
Most of the gifts came back from Paris with him on Monday the 14th because he'd left them in his luggage while he was living there, but several of them were laying around the apartment because they were supposed to go on the plane with him, so he had to pick them up last Thursday. Both Trucy and Larry will get theirs at the birthday party, and Phoenix got his in the thread linked below (which is still going because we're slooooow). All the gifts are professionally wrapped in different colored papers tied with coordinating ribbon, and each contains a small card, handwritten in a script style.
Larry: A vintage poster and a bottle of French wine from Edgeworth's visit to a winery. Because Edgeworth can't visit France and not tour at least one winery. The card reads, 'To your successful return. I'm sure the wine will be an improvement over your usual fare. - Edgeworth'
Maya and Pearl: Matching silver bracelets. Edgeworth has no idea what to get a young girl, other than a vague inkling that they like things with hearts on them. Pretend these are from a French designer. Both cards read simply, 'You are each other's strength.'
Mikaela: A leather cat collar for Laserboy, in a nice, masculine tan and black combo. The card reads, 'A souvenir of Paris. A pet should be at least as fashionable as his owner. - Edgeworth'
Detective Gumshoe: A Burberry tie. The card reads, 'A souvenir of Paris. Perhaps this will make your coat seem presentable by association. - Edgeworth'
Cuddy: A silk scarf. The card reads, 'A souvenir of Paris. The color should suit you well. - Edgeworth'
Trucy: A mint condition vintage magic poster, framed. He purchased this one separately shortly after the Hakuna Matata virus because, for once, he felt like an ass about his behavior. ...Not his behavior towards anyone else, of course. Just Trucy and Pearl. :P The card reads, 'Our goal is still the same, and I'll share it with you willingly. - Edgeworth'
Phoenix: A pair of gold cufflinks, given in person in this thread. The card reads, 'These made me think of you.' ...No, he didn't intend that to be as gay as it sounds. He was actually mimicking the card that Phoenix included with the dreamcatcher he gave him last Christmas.
Also, I want to apologize to the people I've been failing with this past week. A combination of rl and way too many RLs has prevented both Idgie and I from being as quick or active as we wanted to. Until our RLs are finished up we probably won't be commenting in any journals and we'll almost certainly be slow with a lot of our tags. Please forgive us. ;o; Hopefully things will calm down after Edgeworth's birthday party, which we'll be putting up early to give people more time to play there before the Family Virus starts this weekend. Expect the posts in the events comm tomorrow (assuming we don't fail with those too :Db).
