18: [Private; hackable with sufficient skill] LA Sunset
Sunday, January 13th, 2008 06:40 am((OOC: Was just going to be a contemplative post, until this prompted this.))
I watched the sun set this evening. Los Angeles' air pollution...makes for rather wondrous sunsets. The gold and rose tones caught my eye as I passed by the balcony and...well, it wasn't too cold out, at least. It's been unseasonably warm, in fact. A handful of minutes spent watching the sky is hardly a cause for physical concerns, though I must question my mental health. Really, I should be above such clichéd sentimentalism.
But the sight was truly...stunning. As I watched it I thought...
...if not for Wright, I would not be alive to see it.
It's merely a goddess' whim. It will end soon.
